Most places out West (that I know of) have had a fairly mild winter this year. One reason I enjoy the FC Roundup is that it’s a great way to get some early summer temps. I miss them this year!

Jim Sullivan and I were there yesterday and the turnout was very good, with a couple of FCs we had not seen previously. Had a good visit with Craig Brockhaus and we discussed his soon to be new project with the Jeepney. Saw Rudy Phillips from Ramona, CA, but didn’t get a chance to talk with him. I understand that Paul Barry was going to be here over the weekend also.
Sorry you couldn’t make it this year Dave. I am not going to be able to attend today or tomorrow myself.
Colin, thanks for the update. Rudy is working on the restoration of a Willys fire truck. He’s doing a great deal of research on it to make sure it is correct for a National Park truck. It would have been good to meet him in person.
This year is Ann’s 50th and she really wanted to spend it at home with a Bison roast, so that, coupled with my May trip, was the reason we stayed home. I plan to be down there in 2019 and in 2020 (the final Roundup).
