Runs, drives.

“For sale cj6. It has dual gas tanks from factory, new seats, new carburetor, and steel cab. Frame and body has some surface rust, it is not rusted out. It starts, runs, and drives well. It was running last weekend. Don’t have time to restore.”
Were dual tanks a factory option?
I think dealer option more likely, but I can’t say that conclusively.
My DJ-6 has dual tank from factory
It was call LR option for Long Range if I remember correctly.
So the toolbox was deleted and a mirror image gas tank was put in?
I post a video about on facebook.

Now that you say it, I might just have a brochure about that … I’ll see what I can find.

That is one ugly hardtop. The back window is almost worthless. Why are the windows so dang small as compared to other CJ6 HTs?
Jason, probably because it is an early Koenig hardtop. It looks to be Model 630: https://www.cj3b.info/Photos/Hardtops/Koenig/KoenigFolder2.JPG
I think half top would look better but the full top or the whole jeep just needs a new paint job and the full top cj6 wouldn’t look that bad. For $6k, if it had title and he says running, it might not be a bad price.
