This ran-when-parked truck has been sitting 14 years. The first pic on Craigslist is of a different truck than the one for sale.
“Low mileage 1959 Willy pickup 1 ton . Model L6-226 with 6 cylinder hurricane motor. Car is from California and purchased from 49er chevrolet. The car is all original and has a straight body. Comes with the original owners manual. This car has been parked in my garage for 14 years and when parked it ran. Note first picture is not of actual vehicle but real close. all other pictures are from the car for sale Car is in non operational condition. Needs new battery and fuel lines cleaned out. It will need to be towed to your destination. With a little work the car will run great.”

I am always suspect of an advertisement showing a different vehicle in the first photo…just show pics of what you’re selling.
Hi Dave is right I think for that kind of monies just get the truck running But from what I see look good
Too much money for a non-runner.
Looks clean and stock, but I wonder why not get it running?
he calls it a car. kinda sounds like those scam ads
Eddie,
Since I haven’t seen this listed elsewhere on Craigslist, I’m leaning toward it being a real ad. The inclusion of the VIN number is a good sign I think. Speaking of the VIN, the VIN actually makes it an early 1960 4WD truck.
