Mike wrote, “I recently started making emblems for my full size Jeeps. I’ve created them using the same thickness metal with updated materials which hold up a little better against heat and UV rays. Hope I can help some other Jeep fans out. Pics and prices are shown below:
Kaiser Jeep Corp. – $12
Paint and Trim(w/ custom stamping) – $18
Speaker Emblem – $20
Seat Belt Sticker – $4
Masterguard Bumper Sticker – $10
Those are nice!!!
Awesome work, Mike.
Looking for take off with paint| trim codes 224/201
I NEED THOSE PAINT TRIM PLATES !! — MY 1967 CJ-6 HAD THOSE BUT ARE NOW MISSING !! — ONE PROBLEM , I DONT KNOW WHAT THE ORIGINAL PAINT AND TRIM CODE NUMBERS WOULD BE ??? — THE CJ-6 WAS A LIGHT METALLIC BLUE , AND I THINK IT ORIGINALLY HAD THOSE REAL UGLY BLUE COLORED BOSTROM SEATS — 3 SPEED , V-6 , 4.88 GEARS , FOREST SERVICE , HEAVY SPRINGS — WOULD JEEP CORP. HAVE THE ORIGINAL PAINT TRIM CODES ON FILE IF YOU GIVE THEM THE VEHICLE SERIAL NUMBER ?
Vernon: I doubt jeep corp could help you on that (Lots of pre-1970 information was thrown out or literally buried at the factory site — dedicated jeep folks did there best to save some of it though). But a google search revealed paint colors for Kaiser Jeep in 1967. Do anyone of these colors look similar? https://www.uniquecarsandparts.com.au/Paint_Scans/Kaiser/1967%20Kaiser%20Jeep%20Paint%20Charts%20DuPont.jpg
