Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Poor bisquit.
Patterson is doing well. He’s cold, but dry inside a garage. He still starts right up and drives just fine. He still needs the generator fixed, but it hasn’t been a priority.
I’m considering selling Rusty as a project. I don’t foresee being able to rebuild Rusty in the near term. It’s just a reality of my current situation. I haven’t made a final decision yet. At least I have most of the parts rebuilt/painted.
I’d meant to get over to Seattle this month to work on Biscuit, but it hasn’t happened yet. One thing I need to do is upgrade the seats so Ann can fit more comfortably. I’ve been watching for better offroad/racing seats. Ideally, I’d like to have biscuit ready to I can do trail jam the PNW Trail Jamboree this summer, which is only two hours from Pasco. We’ll see how things go!
