“I have a great 48 Willy’s Jeep project. Some assembly required Lol.

This is a “Barn find” that I took in trade on another Jeep wrangler tj that I was parting out.
The Jeep came from Tennessee several years ago and was taken apart to freshen up the paint and driveline but the project fell behind and eventually ended up in the barn for many years before I picked it up.

The good part is that almost everything needed to get it on the road is here other than a small block Ford engine!!! Yes!! That’s right it’s a little Hotrod with a 4spd Ford top loader 5.38 gears this thing must have been awesome to drive..

I’m looking for someone to take on this easy project and make it live again!

The frame was sandblasted and painted and new springs were installed all around. The body was stripped down and epoxy primed. There’s very little rust to deal with.. it still has the original not messed with floors! The hood has a hole cut in to clear a hi rise intake and carb and at one time had a hood scoop but it’s missing, so something will need to be done there.

There is very little work required to finish this Willy’s Jeep project!!

A quick search on the web reviled many suitable doner engines for a few hundred dollars.. or maybe you have one sitting in your garage just waiting for something to use it in..

Jeep includes, body, frame,axles, seats, custom dash with gauges, power steering, full roll cage, driveshafts, Ford top loader 4spd adapted to Dana 18 transfer case, 302 headers and complete exhaust, motor mounts, radiator, fuel system, wiring harness, windshield, tailgate, fenders, grill, hood, 15 x 10 chrome rims with 33″ tires, lights, body mounts, lots of brackets and bolts.

Clean title!!  It’s located 30 miles west of Madison WI in Ridgeway. ”
