Boy, what a beauty. However, looking close it appears some of the chrome trim shows rust. This would lead me to speculate it may also have been in the body before it was painted. I think I would use a magnet around all the likely places to check for bondo repairs.
Yeah, I agree with Lew. I would love to sit down with the seller, a tape recorder, and listen to the Willys’ history.
Also (and not that it matters), but it’s 1962.5 or older as Willys switched to the 230 OHC in 1963 (as well as replaced the cables for the heater with vacuum-controled ones).
