I snatched this awesome Kelly hardtop brochure off of eBay for a good price. It includes information on the Kelly Safari hardtop. What I like is that the brochure also documents the models numbers.
Also included was the price list (one that includes two different types of dispatchers) and an original order envelope. I also didn’t know that Kelly interacted with Kayline tops at one point. Based on a Kayline brochure, it appears that Kayline handled the territory west of the Mississippi, while Kelly sold Kayline tops east of the Mississippi.
That’s a great brochure.
That is a ton of details all in one brochure !!
What no cj-6 with top ? — my 67 cj-6 has a slightly newer Kelly full steel hardtop , rounded edges , not the angular ones shown . its a heavy son of a ***** , even the doors are HEAVY , it adds about 500 pounds to the jeep . the USFS turned this jeep over onto the Kelly top , hardly hurt it , its better than a roll bar .
Vernon,
They included the CJ-6s in the price list if that is any consolation. They didn’t show any DJs with tops either 🙂
