Could be a good price.
“1956 m38A1 military jeep complete. The engine run very good with 120 psi, the carburetor may need some adjustment, the out body in good condition, the front floor have cancer. I have receipts for $4000 from previous work done to the jeep. I also have a inspection done by Jack Furrier’s auto shop with all the details about the jeep condition. 12v system. The only thing the is needed for roadworthy is fixing the steering box and adjust the carburetor for better idling. thanks”

Anybody know what the brackets on the right rear are for, I don’t recall their function?
The large bracket is for the antenna. The one at an angle is for the top. Does this help? http://www.willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=9044&highlight=
I think antenna brackets are usually square and mounted on left rear area. It may not be a stock item, I just thought jeep might be some type of M38A1 variant, increasing it’s value.
Looks like the front fenders are not original with those marker light indents, still a nice jeep.
Ooops …. yeah, I didn’t look at the antenna too closely. My bad! I don’t know much about those.
