has original seats still. no top but have the frame for it. please only call if you want to buy it. and if you you know what it is.
easy resto or drive like it is. cash talks.”
Lived in Clifton for 60 years during that time frame, never saw this Jeep, somehow doubt it was Clifton, maybe confused with Clinton, NJ.
Just off the back of our property in Howell NJ is Surrey Downs (55 and older community). THEY should buy this :-)!
I’d love to have one of these!
Looking for 60/40 front seats and rear seats just like what’s in these Surrey’s …. call tim if have any

Tim, are you looking for DJ-3A 60/40 or CJ-5 60/40. Based on what I’ve seen, they don’t have the same mounting system.
dj3a 60/40 and rear seat looking for multiple sets 913 238 0711 thanks
Tim, you might try contact Chris Mckay at nscustoms@hotmail.com. He had some DJ parts, but not sure about seats.

thanks !! sent email
WOW, Still for sale, I thought this was listed as sold, I guess it was another dreamer. Once again, never viewed this Jeep during my 60 years in Clifton. I’ll have to ask this guy where in Clifton.
This Surrey is still for sale and now my house in Howell NJ is too! It’d make a great home for this, or any other, jeep! 2+ car detached garage sitting on 0.9 acres. No HOA to limit your love of jeeps :-).
Seriously. Dave can give you my contact info …or delete this comment if not appropriate ;-(
Joe … I’m all for helping you sell your house! I agree, the surrey would look great there! Even better, only 12 miles for the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Guard_Militia_Museum_of_New_Jersey! (I’m hoping to swing by there this trip)
Mike … Someone informed me that this had sold. I don’t know if the deal fell through or if the new owner is reselling. It’s all a mystery sometimes!
sold- I bought it…..
still looking for seats
side steps
grab bars
windshield frames
hubcaps
column shift stuff
anything surrey

I see … seller never took down the ad?
Is this sorry sold
I’m confused
Please contact as I’m interested and nearby
Thanks
Darrell,
Yes, it sold. It’s confusing because the former owner had not removed a ‘for sale’ ad, so it’s still out there. I’d seen that and thought it was back up for sale, but it wasn’t.

I have a 1959 dj3a Surrey that I might sell. I’m doing some research on value. My father bought it when we lived in Hawaii back in 1963. Not pink and white any more.
Hi Rick,
If you’d like to send me some pics, I’d be happy to give you a sense on what the value might be and what the market is like for the Surreys/DJ-3As. You can email me at d@ewillys.com if interested.
Thanks,
– Dave
I will add Tim Wahl’s name to the listing I have for the pink Howell NJ Surrey. Have been corresponding with Rich Reiber for more info on his 1959 Surrey. His father bought it in Honolulu and when they cam back to the mainland, they brought it with them. It is now painted red. About 4 years ago, Rich sent us the photos of it. He lives in Idaho now. Might be a stopping off point for you Dave when you are getting close to home!. I have been trying to copy the photos he sent yesterday, but not having a lot of luck. Me and my computer have been having words today! Not nice words either.
Tim Wahl-
Please send me the serial number on your new Surrey from Howell NJ. I thought I had it, but can’t find it now.
Thanks,
Colin
The Surrey from Howell, NJ advertised as a 1963, is actually by serial number (56337 18316) a 1960 but may not have been sold originally until 1963 (doubtful in my mind). Since it is titled as a 1963, Tim Wahl may have a difficult time getting it titled in the proper year. It was advertised earlier this year in Hemmings and had to include the serial number, so I was able to capture that after a couple of years watching it advertised without a serial number on craigslist and eBay.
Mystery solved! Tim, you don’t have to send me the VIN. Got it.
Colin
Tim,
We’ll be heading up I-84 around June 5th or June 6th. If you are along that corridor, I’d be happy to stop by if you are interested. Email me at d@ewillys.com if interested.
Thanks,
– Dave
