This jeep no longer has it’s trencher, but it still has lots of parts.

Looks like the coil spring system sits awfully close to the tire.
The coils were added due to the weight of the trencher in the rear. I may be wrong, but that was a standard mod when adding the trencher.
Oh I agree with you David what the coils job was but just seemed very close to the tire.
That makes sense. I guess it doesn’t matter since no one with a trencher on back will ever be going very fast. 🙂
