“For sale is a very classic 1952 Willys Overland (Jeep) pickup truck. This is the four wheel drive, one ton model. It is completely drivable and can be used as is or restored, etc. The truck has a four cylinder flathead engine (L head), T90 transmission and two speed transfer case.

A good deal of work has been done on the truck including the following:
Electrical system – the electrical system has been completely replaced with a new wiring harness; every piece of wire replaced (this was converted to 12 volts)
Ignition system – all new ignition parts including coil, distributor parts, plug wires and plugs
Gauges – solid state voltage reducer installed; new temp and oil sensors installed; all gauges would as they should
Parking Brake – all new parking cables front and back, new levers, new handle and some brackets, etc.
Service brakes – all new master and wheel cylinders, springs, etc.
Miss. – new choke cable, headlight switch and knob, glove box (not installed) and gear shift lever (not installed)

Total cost for above parts is about $1600
Other parts: I have two very good back and front fenders. About $1000 in them.

What I would do to this truck:
Brakes – probably install fresh shoes and turn drums (front hangs up a little)
Engine – install rear oil seal
Fluids – I have not changed oil or differential case fluids, and would recommend doing this.

All in all it’s not a bad truck as is. Some minor works as noted above and you are on the road. 1952 PA plate available with truck”
