Looks like ac. Pump on drivers side of motor. Cool. Ha ha
The AC pump looks like a Frigidaire pump from the 1960’s. I had one of those on my 67 Jaguar Mk 10. The fan unit looks like one from and American car of the same vintage.

It is an add-on a/c unit, perhaps a Thermo-King? We had one put in a car in the late 60’s. I believe they cam as a kit to the a/c shop, so no fabricating brackets under the hood. The compressor is a likely York product, 2 cylinder.
The oil bath air cleaner typically sits where the compressor is on the 230. It also has KH wheels.
Why would you install an AC unit in Idaho? The last time I was in Twin Falls it was snowing!
Wait, I see California plates. That explains it. It’s an import. We’re forecast for 105 in Calif. this weekend. And that explains the original paint. The rain dries up before any rust can form. But it still looks like it was stored in a garage most of its life.
This is a nice one. Excellent body, and an overhead cam engine.
