UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
(06/04/2017) There seems to be some parts value here. It has a Studebaker-type overdrive.
“I have a 1957 Willys CJ6 with hard top,
It doesn’t look pretty, but it is basically complete and it does run and drive (with a little help).
It is no where near road worthy, but it shows it’s all there.
There is rust, but it is restorable.
It is a CJ6 (just like CJ5, but 20” longer in the middle).
It has a small block Chevy v8 but I do not know what size it is, never looked. It has a T90 3speed transmission, a Dana 18 transfer case with a factory overdrive attached to the rear. It is NOT the warn overdrive, it is a Studebaker overdrive with cable engagement and lock out solenoids.
The engine runs, very smooth and very quiet. it can and will drive up onto a trailer on its own power. Brakes really don’t work though.
Stock front and rear differentials, D25 front and D44 rear.
60/40 front seats, no rear seat.
4 old dry rotted stock type tires that will hold air long enough to move it around.
It has a Koenig full length hard top with some rust here and there, but again it is easily restorable. The rear hatch is missing.
The top is off and disassembled in the back. All pieces that you see in the pics are there.
I have had it for 3 or 4 years now and I just don’t think I’m going to get to working on it. It’s been under cover since I’ve had it.
The PO, did a wonderful professional job of trying to strip the paint (many layers) which is why it looks so beautiful and custom 😉
These are fairly rare and hard to find. Although I am open to reasonable offers, once you’re standing in front of it, I will not even listen to stupid low ball offers.
Cash in person only, the only trade I would be interested in is a good clean working Hot tub or more jeep stuff.
If you decide you want it, you will have to come back for it. It is buried behind a couple of others and I will need some time to get it out to the driveway.
Text or email only, I’m not normally able to take calls freely.”
