CHASSIS: 1959 Willys Frame, Boxed rails, custom crossmembers, Ford Explorer rear springs/sway bar, Chevy S10 front clip, Belltech2″ drop spindles. BODY:1953 Willys Body, Replaced quarter panels and lower door skins, Fabricated new cowl panels, door bottoms, rocker braces and lower tailgate, Grill sectioned 1.75″, Custom firewall, floor pans, front apron rear bumpers, Walnut accent panels.     Looks like the pictures from the ad are from 2010. I have requested some more recent ones.

    From the seller:

    Most of the work was done by Tavis Highlander, a locally noteworthy automotive artist in Longview Washington. I replaced the original SRT8 with a new one in 2014, using a long block from Arington Engineering in Virginia. The engine was hand built here in Washington, and dyno tuned by Blood Automotive. Arington used to build race engines for Richard Petty when he was with MOPAR. You can find out more about the car and Tavis by Googling 1953 Willys SRT8. This car is fairly well known, and is recognized all the time at car shows by readers of Hot Rod Magazine.
