UPDATE: Price dropped to $1760.
It’s missing some items that would help identify it as a 1945 (tool indents, column shift, and correct windshield to name a few).

“For Sale: 1945 CJ2A VEC; (“very early civilian” low sequence numbered chassis). Clear Texas Blue Title. Title matches the VIN tab on the firewall, which is also OEM, very clean, and legible.
No L134 flathead motor installed, L-head motor goes with the jeep, it is a complete motor, but it will need rebuild. Intake, exhaust, carb and alternator are still in the engine bay; all the components in the jeep go with the jeep.
T-90 Transmission has pristine internals, looks rebuilt, all four gears are pristine. T-3 transfer case and all linkage and brakes are complete and look very clean on the inside. Chassis is rolling on OEM 16 inch rims.
Body is very solid, front floor boards have been replaced. Tail gate is fair. Grill is VEC, has early socket style inset turn-signals. Grill is very nice, not a hole or a bend in it. Seat frames are in it, driver’s side will need re-work. No gas tank. Rear floor has seen heavy use and will need repair(s). Windshield and windshield frame will need restoration, but it is complete, less the glass.
Oil bath air cleaner is installed. Emergency brake is installed, and is complete from drum up to the handle, and it works. Drive shafts, U-joints and steering linkage are all nice with no excessive play.
Frame is not bent, twisted, cracked or rusty–very nice. The jeep had a very heavy front bumper installed on it which has been professionally removed. Front frame stays will need minor repair at the old, (heavy), bumper mounts, but this is minor. V-mounts for OEM bumper are still very usable as installed.
First $1850.00 gets the jeep with the CLEAR Texas Blue title and your written bill of sale the way you want it written. FIRM. Trades of items of hunting use considered.”
