Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Body has been patched. Has a Kelly Half Cab.
“This is a 1948 Willy’s jeep, Half cab, new seats, new master cylinder, and wheel cylinders on rear, new brakes on rear, new tires, new plastic gas tank, new plugs, new battery, rebuilt alta, new headlights, parking lights, and tail lights, Tow bar, and new brake shoes for the front. This jeep runs and drives good, Fixed it up to hunt with. I have no title, just a bill of sale in Alabama.”
The jeep had a cool look but there is a lot of bad body work. The bed looks to have been replaced with Diamond plate. I’m amazed with all the jeeps missing the parking brake cane handle. It does have a bottle opener on the dash though 😉
