“1947 Willys Overland Jeep CJ-2a “Restomod”
Fully restored chassis and drivetrain (completed Spring 2007, 3600 miles on restoration, odometer reads 84,981)
Fun to drive, runs great, always garaged, lovingly cared for.
-Professionally rebuilt original L134 flathead 4cyl engine (block bored and resurfaced, new pistons, full valvetrain, hardened valve seats, etc) w/ new electronic distributor, re-cored radiator, full custom exhaust system and wideband O2 sensor for tuning.
Complete chassis and drivetrain restored to stock specifications with the following modifications:
-12Volt conversion with all new wiring harness, 140A alternator, voltage converter for gauges and rebuilt starter for 12VDC.
-T98 “Granny Low” 4 speed, rebuilt and adapted with factory CJ-5 components
-Warn Overdrive, professionally overhauled
-1971 CJ-5 D44 rear axle, 30 spline, new Dana/spicer 5.38 gears, Detroit E-locker (selectable locking differential).
-Front disc brakes/rear 11″ drum
-Dual circuit master cylinder
-31×9.50 Interco TSL radial tires
-York air compressor system (air tank and plumbing currently in storage, but included).
-Winch is not included, but the mounting plate/system is.
-All receipts, over 1000 photos of restoration
