Glenn spotted this unusual CJ-5. He tried to contact the seller, but had no luck getting a response. On the back of this is a Marsmith Auguer. Glenn and I couldn’t find out much about it. It appears to have roots in Phoenix, where a company called Dirtrix/Marsmith was located. I’ve included a few extra photos of other CJ-5s that have mar smith augers.

This looks like an Authorized Jeep Accessory and there should be Sales Materials. Colin says Ditrix Marsmith still exists near him and we may learn more.

That’s a good question. I’ve never run across parts for these. These rarely pop up for sale as it is. I haven’t researched the Marsmith company, so I don’t now if it still exists in any form. If so, maybe the company has some old parts?
