“46 Willy’s with 200ci Ford straight 6 with turbo, 3spd trans, twin stick tcase, 4:88 gears. Sprung under now but tabbed for SOA as well. This thing isn’t the prettiest, but it is trail tested and bomb proof. It does need the head put back on, wheel cylinders replace, and tires. Clean title and VIN plate in hand. Divorce forces sale-text only please”
Bomb proof? Well that’s nice to know but I wouldn’t have tested it by setting off explosives in it and blow the head off! It’s funny these days how words and statements have been so misused that they don’t mean anything. Why was the head off in the first place? One would think brakes might be a worthwhile system to have available while trail testing it in the first place! He is not Captain Obvious……. or is he? Well I’ve got a vintage Studebaker setting out on the back forty, heck it’s been there since grandpa parked it there. Great patina, oh the rust is just marvelous, runs thru out, Shoot, you can even see what’s left of the frame and drive train from multiple angles. Does it run? Well let me tell you it purred like a kitten when grandpa had the mule team pull it there some 40 years ago, so I’ve been told. Yeah, it’s a beauty! Worth every penny. Sorry for the rant but am I right?
You are right. Perhaps it is bomb proof, but not neglect proof? Hard not to poke fun at the verbiage/logic in some of these ads.
Sorry, but I’ve got MPMS this week. (Male) I feel sorry for me better 3/4, our Dawgs, Hawg, Heifers, Ducks, Chickens, Turkeys and Kat’s. However, none ever do any complaining that I’ve heard!
