I remember when the Jeep V/6 was big news back in 1965. I was 15 years old and very excited about it’s introduction. My dd had owned Willys jeeps in the past and I knew how under powered they were on the highways.

The first Jeep V/6 that I viewed was at Ziggy’s Phillip’s 66 Service Station, white with a black vinyl top. This Jeep went through many owners over the years, but I never lost sight of it, Bought it in 1978 for $550.00 with plow. I still have it today. With all the snow plowing I’ve done over the years, it’s earned it’s keep.
