“willys cj2a,early.Was titled as a 42MB,which is not. The good:4 military tires,newer shocks,new springs,new tie rods,new S tubes and rubber brake lines.New custom steel brake lines 100%new.New brake cylinders,master cylinder.New brakes in rear,good in front.Stops good.
changed to 12 volt.New Battery, wiring harness 100% replaced.New Alternator and gauges in dash.
New fuel tank and carb. All lights new, signals w/4 way flashers. New steel framed Willys seats w/o.d. cushions. Period correct hand windshield wipers. New radiator and hoses. 4 wheel works great.
Frame is great w POR coating.
The Bad. Needs to be finished, minor stuff. Starts and drives and stops good. Needs emergency brake hooked up.(I have the brake band part for it) Oil leaks at rear main .Believe it is the bottom seal or gasket.Minor problem cause oil is cheap and don’t drive that much. Transmission does grind a little when into second and third. Will need Syncros some day but is very driveable the way it is.If you get the right rpm you wouldn’t notice it.
This is a project vehicle I worked on this summer. The tub is fiberglass and the nose is new fenders steel and hood and windshield steel. No rust at all to deal with.
I installed a Gerry can in rear and a spare and it looks military and very cool.
Price is $4500. which I will break even at.If you are not willing to go that, please save your time.
Thank you for reading. Sold as is,where is,as project vehicle you can finish.”
