Its got a hood bump…
The windshield frame is a vertical mount military model made to fit the Willys supplied aluminum top for the M38 but in this case the lower attach legs have been bent so the windshield tilts back slightly.
I didn’t look at this one nearly close enough. Besides the points you both raised, the gas tank has been removed from the driver’s seat and, probably, put in the back.
