I’ve seen this for sale two different other time. The 5500 price tag rings a bell from over 7 years ago. I test drove it about two years ago and he wanted 12k for it then. I can’t remember everything I noted, but the steering assembly was pretty bad and I nearly drove it into an electric pole going around a curve. He failed to mention that to me. I offered him 7500, which I thought was overly generous.

I’ll give this guy credit. He has held onto this thing since 2013, and will not back down on price. Stubborn dude. He’s your typical hoarder type who thinks he has an automotive Mona Lisa sitting in his driveway rusting away. I think it’s one of those mental things where he cannot get past his own rationale on what it’s actually worth. In my search for a CJ6, I ran into a few guys like him, but he was definitely the worst. If he hasn’t made any improvements since I test drove it, well…that price he’s asking is how do you say…delusional.

All you have to do is look on this site everyday and you can see same delusional pricing.

There was listing on willy’sforsale.com that was there on and off for over a year. She wanted 10, said she would take 8. I offered 6. Might have done a little better than 6. Gal said she would keep it for that. I told her go ahead.

Ike this jeep, what once was a nice rust free jeep suits out in the rain and in 6 months rust has taken hold. What once was a $6000 jeep turns into a $2500 jeep.
