UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7200.
(09/04/2016) Has a slat grille, but who knows if it is original.
“1942 Jeep Willys hard to find 11 slat grill. New springs and shackles front and rear. New brake system front and rear. Original flat head four motor. Runs good. Comes with two gas cans and second set of tires. Bikini top..”
This jeep was commented on g503.com. The only thing slat related is the grill itself.

I’ve been in contact with the owner via text, basically trying to ID his Jeep. Based on the info he provided me, it’s a slat. The body has the Willys script on the rear panel and has no glovebox. The engine is a late 44 or early 45 MB with a GPW head. The frame is missing the dataplate, but based on the early two-piece battery tray, it’s a slat frame. The VIN is based on a slat serial number in the 3k range.

Update from The Netherlands: This Slattie is 99% restored 2,5 year after purchase. Framenumber: 111358, bodynumber: 15160. Engine is dated 8-6-44. DOD (nog sure) 13 of 14 januari 1942. If you like I could sent some photos.
