UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
(06/17/2016) Appears to be a column shift. Might be a VEC.
“For sale- 1946 Willys Jeep with 1938? International truck cab, 6 volt 4 cyl. all original Willys running gear, hasn’t run in 7 years. Needs gone over. Titled as 1946 CJ2a. Needs some tlc. If interested come and look.”
I don’t think I’ve seen the air filter mounted there before. Would this make the engine “breathe” better??
I wanted to say “one of a kind”, but we have seen several examples lately. Then I thought maybe these jeeps should have their own category. Guess what, they do – Sedan Jeeps. Thanks Dave!
Yeah, I didn’t know what to call them. They land in one category (Sedan Jeeps) and two tags (Odd Body, Hardtop). I’m really surprised at how many there are!
I kinda like these sedan/cab creations… for some reason 😉
Not sure if that air cleaner location would breathe better (being out in the open) but the air does have to go further, if that matters. Certainly easier to service the oil bath filter there.
I always liked the look of the old truck cabs on Jeeps. This one seems a bit of an awkward morph, but not that bad.
id you hand turn motor over? how is rest of drive train? I tried calling you last year no answer? then you wanted 1500. thank. jerry 610/577/6703
