Not really relevant or helpful, but that detachable radio mount sure brought back a lot of memories.
Used to have those in all our cars when I was a kid and my dad had Johnson Messenger 23 channel cb radios on every one of them.
Hadn’t thought about it in years.
Memories are always relevant here π … The CBs were popular with jeepers here for years. However, i was told this week that many folks are shifting to portable HAM radios in their jeeps.
So I’m thinking that’s a Jersey Devil catcher on the front of this (no armadillos in the Garden State)!
…especially being down south where it allegedly lives and has been spotted over the years π
