I have noticed some FC’s do not have the small “opera” window but most do. Why ?
According to Craig at the FC Connection (http://thefcconnection.com/brian_graham_fc-1703.htm), the absence of a rear side window was more common in later model trucks than early. Sounds like it may have been an option? I’ll see if I can learn more.
Thanks Dave !
The FC’s with the rear quarter windows actually were an option and it was called the “Deluxe” cab. Based on a totally unscientific theory my thoughts were that in Willys Motors push to get the new Forward Control Jeep out that they produced many more deluxe cab to try to sell them to a larger market. More “Bling” if you will. Later it seemed to be more commercial orders thus the lack of rear quarter windows.
Sold on eBay $7,260.00.

Interesting with the 230 OHC Tornado. I wonder how it drives with that motor.
