UPDATE: Still Available.
(05/05/2016) The trailer is cool.
“2nd year of these post war vehicles. I’m 3rd owner and 1st owner outside the original family who bought it new. This is a 2WD model with the Planar front suspension. All seats including the 7th “mother-in-law” seat back by the spare tire. Interior and glass disassembled, bagged and labeled for sandblasting. Pictures show some before and after shots. I have over $1000 in new parts (patch panels, etc.). Also have a matching trailer made from a Panel version of these vehicles.”
The trailer looks well balanced.
WOW!! Go to the C.L. Ad to see that almost impossible to find corner rear seat. How many of those have you seen? Doubtful he’ll get 6 Grand, but there’s a nice project here. With that trailer painted to match, a real special advertising display. And I’ve got the chassis for it, all restored up here in Maine.
Unless Im mistaken, that rear seat is not a true mother-in-law seat. They didnt fold at the floor or at the waist. I think this is either a former front passenger seat or a back seat. Nice wagon though.
