“Up for sale is my 1952 Willys Truck Rat Rod/ Hot Rod. I have a clean title in hand ready to transfer.

About the truck: The truck itself is titled as a 1952 Willys truck. The frame is from a 1987 Toyota mini truck, and retains all breaks and rear axle of a toyota truck. The frame is painted, as it was from a show truck. The frame has a professionally welded in c-notch and a 4 link suspension in the rear. It has a 4 bagged air ride suspension with fast bags. As you can see in the pictures, the truck lays body on the ground. It has front/back and side to side capabilities as well as individual bag control. You can see the switch box in the interior picture. The air bag suspension works wonderfully, and is very fast. The pipes to each bag from the tank are stainless steel instead of plastic for a very nice, and much better quality, than the typical plastic tubing. You can see the tubing coming off of the tank in the pictures.

The engine is a chevy 350 V8 with a turbo 350 automatic transmission. These were in the 87 toyota truck when it was used for shows, so I do not know mileage on them or how the 350 was rebuilt. The engine was completely rebuilt, as you can see in the pictures, but I have no specs on cam or anything like that. The engine does start right up and runs great. It is not street ready yet, so I have no driven it anywhere other than in and out of garage and around the yard. I was told the transmission was recently rebuilt, but do not know the mileage on it. The guy that I bought the truck from had it sitting for a few years so he couldn’t remember a lot of those little details. It has an aluminum radiator with an electric fan that is currently on a toggle switch. I have had the engine running at idle for some time and it does not even get close to overheating. brand new mechanical water pump and fuel pump. I put the alternator on the truck that came with it. I also put the exhaust on the truck as well. The headers are specifically made for the 87 toyota truck v8 conversion so they fit perfectly. I have 2 1/2 pipes running to flowmaster mufflers that I was going to finish by running pipes out the side before the rear wheels.

The body is professionally body dropped by professional welder/fabricator. There is a cage built all around the body for strength and support, and it is very nicely done. The floor is bare metal as I have not got to do much interior wise. The seats were out of the toyota and are reupholstered. It has a lokar shifter and ever cable I have put on (kickdown, throttle, etc) are all lokar. It has a brand new painless wiring kit that is pretty much finished, just needs to connect to rear tailights. I put classic insturments gauges in it. There is a speedomoter, oil pressure, water temp, and fuel. I do not have a tach in it at this time. The headlights and front marker lights work. It will need to have a turn signal switch added, as it currently doesn’t have one of those.

The bed is custom fabricated. The sides are from a chevy truck bed and welded on to the bed frame. There is currently no tailgate on it, and the rear fenders on the truck in the pictures come with it. They are not currently attached to the truck. The front fenders are original steel fenders as well. These did not come with the truck when I bought it, and are not cheap or easy to get. I do have a front chrome bumper for it, as well as an original tailgate.

It really doesn’t need much to be finished. Tail lights, new brakes (I have new front rotors and pads, rear will need to be done), the tailgate and rear fenders put on, and a few other small things. I am only selling the truck because I was able to acquire another car that I have been wanting for a long time, so I have to get rid of one of my other cars, so this one goes.
