Does it was to hard to keep it shiny?
Say goodbye to your rust problems, but one very important fact to consider; stainless steal is a lot heavier than steal of similar gauge. Might rob you of some horse power.
Check out that front bumper with the bumper guards and built in parking- turn signal lights, would look great on the front of my 62 wagon.
I don’t know ? I understand the whole no rust factor especially living in the North East corner of the country, and first and foremost no disrespect to Alaska Paul and the incredible work he has done on his Stainless Willys project’ , but this doesn’t do much for me . Way to shiny, no character, and it will never have the all important Patina Im after anyway. Cant speak for anyone else but Im out at the asking price of nearly $9000
Ted, I agree, I’m with you on this all the way. From a practical stand point, makes no sense to me.
I don’t know what the right price on this package should be, but one unique aspect of the package is that it is Jewels. As I understand it, Jewels made a higher caliber of stainless jeep bodies/parts than the more common stainless jeep parts manufactured today. I’m sure that’s why it is priced where it is. Always easier to go down than up.
I have run across some beautiful stainless jeeps. However, I’ve never been a fan of the angled stainless windshield like the one included in this kit. I think that really detracts from the style.
As for being practical, well I’m not sure many jeeps are very practical in this day and age anyway 🙂
Has anyone trued to contact this guy about parts? I have and it seems to be an endless trail of emails back and forth. Give me a break, I don’t want to write “LOVE LETTERS”, I want to do business.
Dave, I think the seller is Brian L. If it is then the quality and condition of all the parts are top notch.
Yeah, try to buy something off of him, wait weeks for a email reply, price quotes keep changing, shipping charges go up & down, got tired of the B/S.
