I really like this one. I’d like to see a SBC for the power due to size and type of the build.

If I wasn’t just about done with my long travel baja build, then I would most definitely be interested in this. A good looking rig using good proportions with proven OS parts. Nice job!

LOL. This is my Willys. I’m familiar with the CJ3BL. It was partly the inspiration for the stretch. That’s why I didn’t stretch it at the door openings like most guys do. I call it the CJ6B as a joke. It’s a CJ3B on a CJ6 frame at CJ6 length. Get it. Thanks for the nice comments.

David, keep up the great work with the E-Willys site. I love it.

I like this !! The first thought in my mind was that other CJ3b with the slope hood. Wonder if that is possible ? Is that a drive in speaker I see in the dash ?

You did a great job on this !!!

lol, yes it’s the speaker for the CB. I think there was already a big hole there; I can’t remember.

I just realized that’s an old engine picture. Since that picture I put in a fresher 225 odd-fire that reportedly had about 8k miles on it. The old engine was working, but feeling tired. The newer engine has Kenne Bell valve covers and a York compressor for on board air.

The M151 series gauge cluster plate is also a nice touch: and very practical, I imagine :-).
Overall pretty great… including the color!

    Hi Roy,

I haven’t seen this one pop up on Craigslist in a while, so I suspect it sold. I’ve updated the post.
