“1961 jeep cj data plate says its a cj3b, wheelbase is correct for that model; 80 inches. Has the original hurricane 4 c,ylinder engine, freshly built carb and added an electric fuel pump 3 spd trans with hi/lo transfer case. Engine doesn’t knock or smoke. Clutch good, tranny shifts smoothly. Had been sitting for three forevers when I bought it, was not running. Still has original oil-bath air filter. Body is straight, some rust repair has been done in the past, but it is basically sound. At some point someone changed the front clip because it has the rounded hood and fenders, not the high hood and square fenders that are correct for the cj3b. It needs a restoration. Needs windshield, fuel tank, and the brakes need going through. I have a set of seats from a honda accord that I was going to use in it, but never got that far with the project. Neat little jeep, just needs re-doing and a good home. I am going to attempt to list pictures but if they don’t make the post I will be happy to text them to your phone.
