This Willys had a complete frame-off restoration around 1999. Just about everything was replaced, rebuilt or overhauled. New wiring, brakes, windshields gaskets, gas cap, engine, seats and more! Tons of receipts and original manuals too! This 4×4 has been stored in a heated garage and enjoyed for the last 14 years until the owner’s recent passing.

The Body is ALL WILLYS STEEL, super-solid, and super clean! It doesn’t appear to ever been wrecked, had panels replaced or rusted! It’s super straight with no major dings or dents and has a very nice Artic White paint job.

The condition of the chrome and brite work is very nice to excellent with most items replaced or restored. The glass is excellent along with the weatherstrippings for it. It does have windshield wipers.

Although the doors are not present in the pictures, the original steel frames will go with the Jeep but they have no materials, just bare frames.The material is available that matches the top from the same company that provided the top.

The Interior is in restored condition as well. The seats have been recovered and are in excellent condition. The paint work inside looks is as nice as the outside. The instrument panel has all new wiring, and surround and all the gauges, directionals and lights work correctly. The steering wheel is in great shape too!

It does have a heater and it does work very nice, 2 speeds and a lighted knob to indicate it’s on.

The Drivetrain components are the original units it was born with and all have been rebuilt. The VJ-3 4-63 four-cylinder, 134ci engine runs perfectly with no smoking, noise or issues. The manual transmission and transfer case all work perfectly too! It’s a 3-speed transmission with low range selector for off road needs. The clutch does not slip and the tranny shifts smoothly in all gears. All the axles have been rebuilt from end to end and aftermarket lockout hubs installed.

The Undercarriage is in super-clean condition! Just a very nice show piece from top to bottom! The floor pans and frame are original and in GREAT condition! It also has a new exhaust system. New 7.00 x16” Military tires plus a set of 5 original 15” steel civilian wheels.

Trailer is a civilian model which is basically the same as a military model except for the frame which is not as beefed up for extreme off road use.”
