UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $10,000
Looks in good shape.
“This M38 was taken down to the bare frame and reassembled in 2014-2015. It is not a show quality vehicle but if you want a good solid driver this is the one. No rot anywhere. Not a trace of bondo.
New since fall of 2013:
Entire brake system including master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake lines, brake pads, etc
T-90 Transmission rebuilt
D-18 Transfer case rebuilt
New clutch
New Saturn Overdrive installed which means you can cruise comfortably at 50-55mph
Rebuilt correct Carter “YS” carb.
New fuel lines
Repaired and sealed correct M38 gas tank.
All wheel bearings and king pin bearings have been replaced.
Bell crank rebuild kit and new tie rod ends.
Converted to 12V with new Walck’s 3A wiring harness.
Original foot starter has been rebuilt and converted to 12V.
Axles have been gone through and freshened up. New seals, bearings, etc.
L-134 motor runs great with good compression. It has an M38 block with an MB head. Someone has been in there before me but since it runs strong I have had no reason to tear into it.
Tub is rock solid. Body work and paint job is amateur but there is no bondo anywhere. All correct replacement panels were used. No hack diamond plate or any other junk.
I’m sure there’s much more to list that I have forgotten. I have driven this M38 over 4,000 miles this summer alone. It starts, runs, and drives great. I have all receipts and 100’s of pics of the rebuild. I will also include a complete Arctic Top w/doors and a back seat.”
New price – $10,000
Thanks!
Now Ryan, You forgot to mention your day with this M-38 on The 3rd Annual NH Trail Ride. See Pix and video on P. 7 below, almost way down:

When you can take a good looking Jeep out to play with heavily modified dogs, and return home with only a few wounds to lick, you’ve had a fun day, and this was one of my best days JEEPIN’.
Ryan you can’t sell it, what would you bring on the 4th annual trail ride?
The 3A is a proven trail warrior. No worries 🙂
Is the Jeep still available, if so what is your bottom dollar. Looks like what I am looking for. Thanks Gene
SOLD!
Congrats Ryan! I’ve updated the post.
