“1966 Kaiser Jeep CJ6 with Dauntless V6 and 3 speed tranny with Warn overdrive. Jeep is in decent shape with some rust on the tailgate hinge area and front panels. One of the front fenders is damaged pretty bad. The frame and undercarriage is in surprisingly good shape with minimal rust. The jeep has been in our family for 30 years and my uncle did several mods. One- he changed out the steering wheel for a tilt one out of an older Buick, Two- he added a combo light set on the rear instead of the single one, and replaced the seats with something more comfortable. It doesn’t use any oil and has a newer alternator and fuel tank, and I also have the cushions for the rear jump seats. The back seat needs work on the back section, but the jump cushions are in great shape. To my knowledge everything works, including the heater, gauges, 4 wheel drive, stereo. I take it to work occasionally, so it’s very drivable but the brake technology is 50 years old. It also has the tow bar on the front, so transporting it to your favorite trail is much easier.
