UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2200.
It’s been altered slightly into an M-38 clone.
“For Sale is a 1948 CJ2A (M38 clone) with a current/clean Arizona title with current registration. In the next few days I plan to repaint the jeep using the correct M38 semi-gloss military paint, GCI SG Olive Drab
WHAT THE JEEP HAS – THE TUB: “No Rust” The passenger side of the tub was altered to accommodate the pioneer tools (axe & shovel) and a glove box. The correct holes have been drilled to utilize the M38 top bow and canvas top. Tub is fitted for M38 tail lights and military trailer connection. All the required body work is complete and new hat channels are installed. POR 15 has been applied to the undercarrige, front floor panels have been repaired and a new cargo deck installed.
FENDERS/HOOD: “NO RUST” Fenders, hood, and seat frames are new aftermarket, the driver side fender has been drilled to accomodate the fender marker light. Has a new CJ2A gas tank with sending unit installed. The rims are M38 bead lock rims but, as you can see new tires are required. The brakes are steering are in good working order and the jeep was on the road a couple of months ago.
ROLLING CHASSIS: “NO Rust” Good working condition, drive shafts included
WHAT THE JEEP DOES NOT HAVE: The engine, transmission, transfer case, windshield, tailgate have been removed to incorporate in a new Willys Jeep build and ” ARE NOT” included.
After rebuilding the jeep 5 or 6 years ago I drove it less than 400 miles. Have included a picture of the jeep upon completion of the original restoration as a reference.
Will update my post with new pictures upon completion of the new paint job.”
