UPDATE: Price dropped to $5500.
(07/23/2015) This is a VEC with the original spare, according to the seller.
“Up for sale is a very early civilian willy’s CJ2A with 11,300 miles, had the fuel system and brakes redone runs beautifully, has rare remote shift on the colum has the orginal spare tire still on it, have possible its orginal top and door . Four wheel drive works nice ,I bought a aftermarket rear seat.there is some rust but very repairable it was used in the winter’s ,the frame is good some surface rust. Also comes with a 1/4ton army trailer which needs tires”
This one needs some inspection. I do see the rust on passenger side. It’s nice to see the bow brackets actually holding bows.
Original spare? I thought they came with NDT tires.
I’ve seen lots of photos of them with just a rim on the spare carrier, leaving the owner to provide one.
Makes me wonder why one would post so many pictures of basically the same area, and from way back. I have never seen a jeep from New York or we jersey that isn’t completely rotted out. Also doesn’t say if it runs or not basically the ad tells you nothing
