1953? M-38 Daytona Beach, FL $33,000

Looks ready for the road, but it is also a good example of how the investment of time and money doesn’t always equal the market value.

“I had this jeep completely restored and absolutely love it. Unfortunately, I need to sell to get a work truck. I would consider trading for a 4×4 diesel or gas crew cab flatbed dually; or just a good newer 2500 4×4.

Please do not waste my time with random offers and just plan junk. I have 33k invested in this jeep with supporting documentation.”

True. Nice looking Jeep, A little high for my taste… but still. That’s a $6K-15K Jeep no matter how much has been invested in it. It’s even less roadable then a stock one.

I wonder if those seats are leather, they look nice but may not hold up to the elements.

Yup. A perfect example of how you’ll never get your costs back unless you find a rich sucker.
It’s beautifully done but not worth half what he’s asking in our market.
Maybe he needs to take it to one of the big auction houses. Barrett-Jackson might get his $30k for him.

$ cost of time and materials invested does not equal market price. Nice Jeep though.
