Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Great Korean War vintage 1952 M38 Jeep. This is military surplus, not a CJ-2 civilian model. Very fun to drive, unrestored, all original except for a new gas tank. New batteries, 24v system. Great to run around the farm or put in a parade. Dull OD green, not a shiney finish to attract the enemies’ attention. My wife did not like driving it near as much as I did.”

Pretty nice… just need the accessories: shovel, ax, spare tire, fuel can, rear seat and keep it as-is (original) as long as possible 🙂
Put the correct YS-637s waterproof carb on it and your good to go in original fashion.
It’s a nice jeep but appears to have had signifigant body work done which explains the lack of axe sheath etc. on right side.
