Looks like a fine price. Not perfect, but seems like a perfect entry level jeep for someone.
“948 cj2a Willy’s jeep,. This was used for the fall small game season. The body is sold with Damond plate corners and floor. The engine was rebuilt several years ago and runs good. Transmission and transfer case are good no leaks. Gas tank is in back. Radio, 12volt, front clip rolls forward to work on, high back seats, role bar. Tires are good. Has solex carb on will included regular carb.”
Some body work has been done. No spare tire carrier holes or bow pockets. Are those hood clamps on the side steps holding down the hood assembly?
That roll bar looks like big copper pipe! Seats are nice, out of late cj5 or cj7. Tires are really cool…
First tilt front end I have seen on a flatfender. I assume fiberglass ones are fairly common, but this appears to be the original components joined together.
Gotta love that periscope air cleaner poking through the hood.
Ya, Peter. It’s mounted to the hood. Better make sure you close it good every time!
When seller states gas tank is in the back thats no joke. Notice that red generator gas tank- I think thats it!
