UPDATE: Was $150. **SOLD**
Seller saved this and hopes a willys lover can use it.
“Up for sale is a willys jeep powered air compressor I saved it from the scrapyard with plans to restore but have no time for it anymore. Would like to see it go to a jeep collector it turns over that’s all I know about it. Looks pretty complete”
Appears it sold. I’m not surprised: the starter and generator were each worth the selling price… although it would be cool if the buyer preserves/restores it.
I was lucky enough to buy it and plan to restore, trailer mount , and use it to sand blast all the other rusty stuff I have. It’s the General Supply model and I am in need of any and all info about it, and the Hesse version as well. This is a great site!
Jackson,
Congrats on the purchase. Here’s a link that has several links regarding the Hesse:

The only reference to “General Supply” I have is this link, but it isn’t too helpful:

Thanks Dave, I think I’ve seen everything available online.Too bad a couple of those links don’t work but the g503 site has some good info. The air tank seems to be the main thing the unit is missing.Any idea what size it is? I’ve culled most of the photos online for comparison and one thing I notice is the gauge and control panel on mine is attached to side of radiator shroud which is not seen on others. I see a lot of minor variations in the photos. Where do the unused 2&3 ignition wires go? In the photos they seem to disappear under the block or in one photo between head and block.
Cheers
J
Jackson,
Yeah, you have all the info I have at this point. I’ve never owned or worked with one. Someone asked me about the Hesse one day. It was so hard to find info, that I assembled what I could to hopefully benefit someone like yourself. Good luck on your search for info.
