It’s got a fiberglass body, but has a rare 1949 CJ-2A VIN: 222769!

187th jeep made that year. Believe it or not, ’49 is the second lowest production year, and only 358 units more than ’45. Too bad there isn’t more originality…
You’d have to really like this jeep and not care about originality to buy it.
Hey Todd , Chris what I noticed is that fiberglass tub has a lot of details that ape the original. Most fiberglass tubs are the same as taking off my glasses , blury so no details.
This body reminds me of my first fiberglass body (ACME maybe??) from the 1970s. It was a very lightweight body that I could pick up by myself.
It is one thing to mount a roll bar to thick original tin picking up both the vertical and horizontal surfaces…but fiberglass?
