Her are a couple additional illustrations. Based on a quick look of Mr. Arifman’s projects, it appears they are well done.
Roberto writes, both have been commissioned by Mr. Firman A. Arifman, from Indonesia. He´s a Willys jeep restorer and his company is called “Reborn Workshop”, located at Yakarta. This is its Facebook website:
Outstanding artwork, Roberto. I love the line work and color.
And now I want to go to Indonesia to see this garage, too 🙂
The Facebook link didn’t work for me, BUT I don’t have my own Facebook, so maybe that’s why.
Hi Joe,
For some reason the link was resolving to ewillys rather than Facebook. It may work now (I don’t know if you need to have Facebook or not to see it). That’s why I try to avoid Facebook links.
Since you don’t have Facebook, do you ever get Facebook errors when loading ewillys?
Thanks a lot for the comments, Joe! I must admit that I tried to do my best and checked as much as possible of my jeep related bibliography. What a mess!!! 🙂
Roberto, your art is awesome! I can’t wait for the day when my brother and I can have you do something for us. Keep up the great work!
Many, many thanks for your kind words, Idaho Todd! But don´t blame at me but at artists as Belgian cartoonists as Hergé, Janry, Franquin, Edgar P. Jacobs or Americans as John Severin, Milton Caniff, etc. for mention a few. And also, to Willys jeep “aficionados” as mr. Eilers. I´m totally sure that without his efforts and work, this would be another story! 🙂
Keep´em rolling!
