UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2750. It includes a top. Looks like a great price. Brett noted that the seller updated the listing because the overdrive was incorrectly listed as a PTO.

Lots of extra parts and accessories. $2750.”
So do you think this has a PTO and an O.D.? He doesn’t list an O.D. but it looks like one to me. Cant see a PTO.
That’s a good point. It sure looks like an OD gear shift. I also don’t seen any shifter for a PTO.
The craigslist ad has been updated. It is as suspected an OD and not a PTO
thanks .. I updated the listing.
I went to look at this one and found the engine doesn’t fit right. No room for a fan so someone mounted a electric fan on the front of the grill. Also body floor pretty well rusted out under forward half. Mike could not get it to run since the filters were full of rust (glass filter) so suspect tank needs to be replaced or cleaned and relined. Frame was really nice except where it was converted for 289 motor mounts. Body rubbing on back of transmission. I suspect the body mounts forward just gave away. All in all, it’s definately a builder for the price and it does have overdrive. There is no pto and it would not take much to bring this one around. Except for the floor issue, the body is pretty nice and from what I could see, the wiring was sound and not butchered up. If it weren’t for the fact that I already have 7 willys and a wife to support, I would have bought it. Mike is really a great guy and is open to offers. To help Mike sell this Willys, if you have any questions you may contact me and I’ll do my best to help as Mike is not really into restorations as I have been for the last 40 years.
Thanks for the detailed report! I have no doubt you have a supportive wife if you have 7 willys! 🙂
