“We have a 1965 CJ 6 Long Bed Jeep for sale. The engine was rebuilt about 1,000 miles ago but has been sitting. It turns over, has fire….but won’t start. It has the F134, 4 cylinder Hurricane engine, with a 3 speed manual transmission with a twin stick. Has good seats, good tires and has a lot of potential. Was used on a ranch so does not have current registration but I have a clean blue title for it.Β I am asking $2,700.00. The trailer IS NOT included….”
Dave could bring this back for someone when he goes on his trip. Good potential in this cj6.
It’s begging to be brought back to life
Chris here’s the family jeep π lots of room for the crib. My daughter went on her first jeep rub at age two months. π
This is about an hour south of me. Actually gonna be in Kerrville next weekend. Might have to go take a look at it.
You’re right Roy. Room for two bench seats
Chris Kids love Daddy’s jeep (in most cases) Especially and old one. Makes Momma happy :-). This jeep would work great for the family outing on the logging roads etc. May have to buy some Gore-Tex clothes. No different then riding a snowmobile. π
My wife is very supportive of the jeeps and enjoys the hobby with me. The riding part anyways. Maybe not the constantly searching for original willys and parts. The kids absolutely love it. They’ll actually point out jeeps when we travel. This got to be interesting on a jeep trip to Colorado. There were a billion jeeps on the road and I was told about everyone of them
Your 75% there. Now you have to find the right old Willys. As Dave would put it, Connie is going to steal my jeep if I don’t get back to work. π
Seems to be a lot of CJ6’s out there.
