UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $19,500.
Some better pics would aide the sale of this.
“Totally restored and garage kept authentic military jeep that was stationed in France only 875 miles since restore only used for parades must see and serious inquires only I don’t need to sell it. Selling because I don’t have time for it. ”
Wow, from what I can see, looks really nice. Somebody pull that string on that light above it!
What is the going price for a jeep like this??
Larry,
With a jeep like this the value hinges on accuracy and history. Is the French history documented? Does it have the correct stenciling for a unit serving in France? Is the restoration accurate (either original to factory or original to its time in France — sometimes there are motor pool mods)? Does it have the correct carb? Do all ID numbers match? And many more questions …. I don’t see enough info and photos on the Craigslist ad to know whether this is a $12,000 or $20,000 jeep.

Dave is right, the seller seems confused, he says he ‘doesnt need to sell it” then states that he doesn’t have time for it. This guy has Zero marketing skills,,,he wants top dollar yet he couldnt even be bothered to take decent photos of it. it may be a 20K jeep but he’s going to have to do better than that!
