UPDATE: SOLD. was $3500.
(04/08/2015) Has updated engine.
“What I have here is an old antique Army Jeep. It is a Willys M 38. It has all the military data plates on the dash. It has an unusual Military hard top with the data plate on it. It is called the Artic top. Somebody converted it to a 6 cyl Chevy engine. It it runs good. 4 Wheel drive works as it should. It has no breaks. Left rear brake line is leaking. I bought this with the intensions of restoring it. But I have to many projects and not enough time. If you are reading this then it’s still for sale. Please include a phone # and the subject matter to weed out the spam.”
Someone extended the hood and grill out but left the fenders when they put a bigger engine in. The top is cool. Those might be K-H 15×8’s…
Where was a deal like this when I lived in Howell? Not a bad price. I like those deep well rims and that top, too 🙂
My kids back there need to buy this for my birthday!
I can’t believe this is still for sale. Another very cool jeep that “someone” needs to get for Christmas 😉
How much would it cost to get it to Texas
Giving falling gas prices, I couldn’t say. You might be looking at around $1500? You can get a free estimate here: http://www.uship.com/vehicles/
Need name or address to see how much it cost to ship
Just curious, is it still for sale? Looking for one of these for my grandfather whose a veteran
Hi Xristian,
I just checked and this has been deleted from Craigslist (and no relisted), so it may have sold. I’ve updated the post. If it gets relisted I will drop you an email.

Thank you, I appreciate it. Have a nice day.
If you have a low budget you can try Auto Shipping My (http://www.autoshippingmy.com/)
my experience was good with them as they were on time and my car was shipped safely
Thanks for the suggestion Irvin. I’m sure there are some poor shippers out there, but I’ve yet to hear about one through the jeep community.
If you’re still in need of shipping… We used Nationwide United Auto Transport in the past to ship some older Jeeps . They work with many military vehicle buyers and collectors.

Thanks for the suggestion Andrew! I often get contacted with the shipping question.
