Buying Tips
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This ones been here before. I looked at it. Frame looked good, bed is perforated w/rust. Missing access plates in footwell area. R/side fender small rust through. New seats, started right up in below zero temp. Couldn’t get it into gear, problem w/ clutch or maybe small adjustment, don’t know. Lights work, no spare or top. Nice guy, paid too much for it & wants to get his money back.
