This one looks like it has a electric wiper motor too. What you think Idaho Todd? 🙂
Still has the defrost knock out in dash. Electric wiper on driver’s side (looks to be new replacement). Also, has the hand wiper on the passenger side. The seams on the rear look filled and wrong tail lights. Should have the big horn button too. I watched the video of it running and it didn’t have an oil bath air filter or fan shroud. My brother, Todd, must be sleeping…
Chris I have a 59 3b. It has a non-vacuum fuel pump and wiring running up to where the wiper motor (missing) should be. (I’m retired 🙂 ) My 54 3b had a vacuum Trico. But no plumbing on this one. You guys just totally amaze how much you know about jeeps!! Started in a Vec at age 13. Just wanted to go trail running everyday! lol 🙂
Going to Utah some time the end of the week (Stuck in a storage shed in Clearfield) 99% rust free, very straight body (hood needs a little work) no bondo, Thought it looked all original. lol!! But I’ll have to send Dave some pictures, You guys will probably rip apart!! lol 🙂
My 3b is also a 59. I bought it in Colorado and it is completely original. Wearing it’s original paint, has a complete working guage cluster, working heater and defroster and original wiring. It also came with a vacuum wiper on driver’s side and hand wiper on passenger side. Pretty big jeep enthusiast.
THANKS YOU Chris, Good to know somebody that has original 59 🙂
I’d be interested in seeing your jeep. I think that the 3b is my favorite and I always enjoy checking them out
You got a deal! 🙂 Going to bed now. Hauling my whole shop to Utah. Overloaded the old wells cargo. Need to move some bolt bins into the back of the truck. 🙂
Have a wonderful night and I look forward to visiting with you again.
Oh Roy, if your ’59 has a fresh air heater in it, my brother would trade me in for you! He does have a pretty nice high hood though. He’s welcome, I begged him to buy it! What was I thinking? (OK, it’s really nice) This little jeep has a lot of potential. Quite a bit to start with. I would be a little leary of the rust factor but I love late gen 3b’s…
To the owner of this jeep, I tried looking for a way to contact you but couldn’t find anything. Could you please reply to my email with phone number or email. I would like to take a closer look at the jeep. I live in Atlanta, here is my phone number if you can give me a call I will appreciate it. 404 456 2999. Thanks.
Hi Daniel,
I can’t tell if this jeep is still available or not. If it reappears on Craigslist I’ll drop you an email. I’ve updated the post.
